Homie Fund
The Homie Fund is an investment fund founded and operated by a collective of close friends, commonly referred to as "the homies." Established as a collaborative investment vehicle, the fund is managed by Jason Lin, Scott Hickmann, and Henry Weng.
History
The Homie Fund emerged from our years at Stanford. While helping many of our friends in their journeys starting companies, we realized we could turn countless informal late-night brainstorms, pitch deck reviews, and intros into a more durable way to stay along for and support the journey.
Management Team
The fund is jointly managed by three principals, each bringing unique expertise and perspectives to the investment process.
Jason Lin
Jason Lin serves as one of the founding partners of the Homie Fund. His approach to investment management combines analytical rigor with strategic foresight.[2]
Scott Hickmann
Scott Hickmann brings complementary skills to the fund's management team, focusing on risk assessment and portfolio diversification strategies.
Henry Weng
Henry Weng completes the management triumvirate, contributing expertise in market analysis and operational oversight.
Investment Philosophy
We invest in our friends during our years at Stanford and beyond. We know through our late nights studying, building, and chatting together that our friends are kind, ambitious, and destined for great things.
Structure and Operations
The fund operates as a private investment vehicle, with decision-making authority shared equally among the three founding partners.
